ChiSense

Chisense, meaning Qi/Chi Sense, was established in 2005 in the London City fringe. After over 20 years practising in central London, Wen and her Chisense Clinic moved to Purley, at the edge of the East Surrey area, with its panoramic scenery, where Wen hopes to contribute her knowledge to the local community.

Acupuncturist

Wen is a native Chinese, holding a PhD from Nanjing Chinese Medicine University specialising in integrative medicine of traditional Chinese and biomedicine. This advanced study has broadened her analytic skill in pathological diagnosis, greatly enhancing her treatment effectiveness. Wen also obtained an MSc in Chinese Medicine Acupuncture in Westminster University, London along with a degree in Chinese in China, and MBA and CIDESCO Health and Aesthetic qualifications in London.

Clinical Philosophy

Ancient Chinese philosophy believes that the Universe and everything in it are composed of vital energy or Chi that swirls in and around every living thing, building, and space. The human body is a small universe with a set of complete and sophisticated interconnected systems, which usually work in balance to maintain the healthy functions of the human body. Pain, dysfunction, disease, and bad luck are all the result of energy imbalances and can be overcome by restoring the balance between the complementary yet opposing expressions of Chi known as Yin and Yang. Chisense Clinic determines the cause of these imbalances rather than just treating the symptoms via traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) perspective and integrated biomedicine anatomy physiology knowledge. In Chisense, Pre-session Consultation is a vital procedure before the therapy sessions as below are conducted.
